This year’s festival includes tons of live entertainment for the whole family, including a Battle of the Bands, storytellers, Power League Wrestling, pro golf lessons, a rock climbing wall, and more, plus lots of yummy food as well. There's also a 5k road race on Saturday and an antique car show Sunday morning! Midway rides, refreshment booths, and arts and crafts areas open at noon. Rhode Island International Film Festival (RIIFF) shows films at venues in Providence, Bristol, Jamestown, Woonsocket and elsewhere in Rhode Island. The festival presents more than 200 films and is the largest film festival in New England. In 2013, three of the films that premiered at RIIFF went on to receive Academy Award nominations. The Rhythm & Roots Festival boasts four stages of live Cajun and Zydeco music, food, a family tent for kids, dance lessons, all day and evening dancing on two dance floors, gourmet food and drink. This year's event will be hosted by The Duhks, and the lineup includes CJ Chenier & The Red Hot Louisiana Band, Donna The Buffalo, Jim and Lauderdale.

Live entertainment. The Washington County Fair has thrilled visitors from all over for nearly five decades, and it only seems to get better every year.
